Quick Start

  1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Pin the extension from your browser toolbar.
  3. Open any webpage and capture an element or the viewport.
  4. Paste the copied output directly into Figma.

Troubleshooting

Extension icon is not visible

  • Open your browser's extensions menu and pin HTML to Figma.
  • Restart the browser after installation.

Capture does not work on a page

  • Refresh the tab and retry capture.
  • Make sure the page has fully loaded before selecting an element.
  • Try capturing the full viewport if element pick fails.

Paste into Figma fails

  • Use the latest Figma app or web editor.
  • Copy again from the extension and paste into an active frame.
  • Check clipboard permissions in your browser settings.
